What started as a day job in a New York salon to support her growing family has evolved into a Bling Empire of masterfully designed high end nails adorned in the finest luxe Swarovski crystals — “the best of the best,” Jenny tells us — and polished in all of the OPI colors you could dream of. “I remember my first time designing nails vividly,” reminisces Jenny, “the glitters, the blings, it was love at first sight! Nails is not just a job, it is a commitment. It is a road without a destination, where along the way you reap rewards through hard work.” A mother, a wife, a survivor, but most of all, an artist, this self-made nail technician is paving the way with a finely manicured hand transforming an oftentimes understated job into an art of individual expression. Customizing each nail with an unpredictable design to best accentuate the unique and fierce personality empowering every client. “My signature is of course my blings,” nods Jenny with a matter-of-fact smile. “I use Swarovski of course, the best of them all. The crystal itself is my inspiration, simple yet means everything. I can't live without blings.”
“Nail is the next big thing,” beams Jenny as she notes the lack of recognition to the unconventional accessory in every woman’s arsenal. “It hasn’t been taken quite seriously until recent years, now it is a booming industry. It is an extension of a woman’s personality.” Of course, respecting those who opt for the natural and neutral toned nail, the Queen of Bling does see bright and beautiful floral colors coming to the fore as the summer temps go up. It is a match made in Hollywood heaven as the OPI ambassador shares with us the coveted colors we can expect to see in this season’s collection. Taking inspiration from OPI’s birthplace, “this year people are ready to go outside and see all the flowers blooming,” expresses Jenny. Here comes the sun as we welcome warm hues of coral, radiant yellows, and viridescent shades of green with of course, accents of bling!
Recognized most for her three-dimensional nail designs, Jenny plans to continue sharing her knowledge with all aspiring nail artists interested in pushing their creative boundaries and further developing their skills through a U.S. tour that she hopes to one day take globally. “I can see that nails have become fashion, but I can also see it soon evolving into something else, something more avant-garde,” reveals Jenny.
