Like almost everything in the retail game, the name, philosophy, and mission propel a label, and for designer Natalie Rolt the name of the game was simple: design pieces of the highest quality. Social media has been incredibly influential in expanding the brand’s awareness, resonating on an international scale. As of recent, Natalie Rolt designs dressed major personalities including the likes of Bella Hadid, Shanina Shaik, Nadine Leopold, and Natasha Oakley. Establishing coveted collaborations with influencers of this caliber, as well as with their loyal customer base, has further intertwined their ethos of timeless, everlasting designs. Established in 2012 in Western Australia, Natalie Rolt made a name for itself as a stand-alone fashion brand. Owner and designer, Natalie Rolt started her namesake with a need to embrace the female silhouette through contemporary design, quality fabrics, and elegant style. At the heart of the Natalie Rolt's name is the signature Evening Wear and Resort Wear collections. Produced on a made-to-order basis — with an emphasis on effortless luxury — every eveningwear gown, dress and separate is handcrafted in-house, proudly in Australia. Acting as a complementary collection, the Resort Wear showcases staple wardrobe pieces with a focus on exploration and lifestyle. Freedom is relished in lightweight fabrics.

The Natalie Rolt flagship store in North Fremantle, Western Australia houses the design and manufacturing studio alongside the alluring showroom. Keeping the process of fashion unhurried and production considered, the Natalie Rolt team highly values the skill involved in every stage of the design process. “Our brand is not trending, it is timeless. We appreciate the process of fashion and work on a collaborative basis with our customers to make everlasting designs. Fashion to Natalie Rolt often involves the art of concealing one’s source to celebrate individuality and originality,” shares the label. Dedicated to effortless luxury, the Natalie Rolt woman is strong, self-assured and complex. Continually looking to evolve their pieces to mirror their customer’s changing lifestyle, Natalie Rolt values personal and creative growth. Motivating women to be the best version of themselves, the Aussie label strives to design and create wearable pieces for modern women, while “being environmentally conscious. We design for those who look to act with a sense of social responsibility. Our in-house production processes ensure that local craftsmanship is celebrated and fabric wastage is minimized. The women who wear Natalie Rolt respect the longevity of our quality designs,” the label adds.

Noting the alluring declaration of the effortless grandeur decisively displayed across the Evening 20 Release 2 line, Natalie Rolt’s inspiration for the latest coveted collection was largely drawn from the trademarks of their acclaimed quality and the ode to elegant fabrics. “Soft silhouettes are showcased by delicate chiffon gowns and bold sequined knits highlight modern design details including iconic adjustable ruching. Sophisticated and sensual, it is a collection of captivating gowns and bold separates designed for the confident woman. With flattering panel lines, the lace-up Rosalia Gown is truly made for a special occasion. “Beauty is unique and we hope those who wear our pieces feel confident in celebrating their originality. Natalie has always looked to embrace the female form and our elegant pieces are designed to encourage sensuality and authenticity,” shares the label. “We have always worked closely with our in-house pattern-maker to ensure the fit of our designs complements the individual.” Differentiating itself in global fashion and style, Natalie Rolt understands the climatic change when designing for women from all over the world. “Seasonality is an intricate external factor that widely affects style choices. The dryness of our local climate [in Australia] creates a unique and significant demand for lightweight and essential linen designs. The timing of this demand differs from country to country,” states the design team.

With the immense pressure to continue materializing knock-out collections in an always changing industry, Natalie Rolt puts their advice to use to maintain an open mind in perfect harmony with a precise vision. “Now and then, it’s important to look left and right to evaluate the market; however, for the most part, keep your eye on what’s ahead and take action to get there. Whilst the fashion industry has very glamorous elements, it’s important to be aware of the sheer degree of hard work involved. It takes a united team who are passionate about the end goal and feel confident enough to trust their instinct and create a unique point of difference. Find that element of differentiation and run with it.”

“For years now, our customers have relied on us for occasion pieces as well as everyday wardrobe staples and we will be staying true to this formula. We look forward to ensuring that our ever-evolving designs continue to be inspired by our customer’s way of life,” heartened the label. In years past, the Natalie Rolt team have participated in Sydney Fashion Week. This year, the team has eyes wide and across ocean lines, with their sights on collaborating and reaching new international roots, but more importantly, gracing New York Fashion Week. We, for one, are looking forward to that visit.
