The Strappy Summer Basics to Bring into Fall

We all know the deal, Fall and Winter can be some of the best times to acquire swimwear, why? Because in standard fashion, you won’t be needing them. Which begs the question, swimwear in fall…fashion faux pas or underrated styling hack? We have tapped European swimwear brand, JANTHEE Berlin, to divulge their most versatile pieces and their secret to styling those sultry maillots in these stuffy colder months.

Not to get too off topic, but if strapping works for some, it will definitely work in this situation! Seems the trick to keeping summer in fall is layering pieces with versatile straps.

Janthee Berlin’s FIVE Basics You Need

Olympia.

“Our most versatile style is, without a doubt, the Olympia Top, it can be worn up to 8 different ways and as an everyday top — bandeau style, halter neck, and in this last case you can either put the thicker straps or the thinner ones around the neck, creating multiple looks.”

Zaira.

"We even launched a Resort top inspired [by the original Olympia], the Zaira Top, which is also a good option to keep around. The long straps allow you to wrap around your belly and kind of get a bit more coverage, if you layer with a blazer or a coat you’re good to go.”

Lizza.

“Same goes for the Lizza Top, it almost doubles as underwear because of its underwired structure so it’s always a perfect piece to have under a blouse when you’re going for a coffee near the beach.”

Vittoria.

“The Vittoria Dress is a full length dress so it is definitely a perfect transition piece, all you need to do is style it with a blazer on top and you’re ready for those fresher days or nights.”

Le Vert, Pistachio and Mocha.

“From our current swim collection I’d say Le Vert, Pistachio and Mocha are the most suitable colors for the autumn palette, the neutral yet glistening shades will get you ready for any occasion.”

There you have it, strap up and hold on to some of those summer staples! They may come in handy this fall.
