Isabel Tan, aka Pretty Frowns, has nothing to frown about this Valentine’s Day as she will be dressed all day in mood lifting silks. “I can’t believe it has been two years [since we last spoke], time has really flown by,” beams Tan. Filling her time with Dior Beauty, Decorte, Micheal Kors and more, the modern day maven is I’m sure in need of some one-on-one romance. Living in New York, where anything goes in fashion, we were eager to anticipate what is on the wardrobe menu for Valentine’s Day this year. “My boyfriend is planning it this year, so it is all about silk, mesh and feathers for me.”

Having an attire ready for any and all possibilities, from morning to night, it seems fitting that Tan’s ideal Valentine’s Day plan begins with breakfast in bed with champagne and caviar. Boys and girls, take notes! “Followed by a walk, perhaps around central park. Maybe a massage at Aire, I love the soaks there, it feels amazing especially this time of the year in New York’s freezing weather.” Preferring to dine in on this romantic occasion, “it’s always more fun to cook together while drinking wine in my opinion. And dressing up for dinner at home can be really fun and romantic!” encourages Tan.
